Cape Town - Fuel will always be an issue of interest to motorists and with that in mind, we take a look at all stories relating to fuel so far in August.

Petrol and diesel bans?

As more governments look to ban sales of petrol and diesel cars in coming years, experts are assessing how realistic the plans are.

Also, a German Volkswagen executive is scheduled to plead guilty in Detroit in a scheme to cheat emission rules on nearly 600 000 diesel vehicles.

With it being reported that petrol and diesel engines could be banned in Europe as early as 2025, we also looked at what that could mean for SA road users.
