Switzerland - Earlier this year, Wheels24 reported on The Grand Tour host, Richard Hammond, suffering a horrendous crash behind the wheel of the electric Rimac Concept One car. The former Top Gear star had to be airlifted after his serious car crash in Switzerland, suffering damage to his knee.

Hammond had been filming the second season of The Grand Tour, which has been released in December, with co-stars Jeremy Clarkson and James May. We've included images and video of the incident at the end of this article.

In December, The Grand Tour has released a trailer of the first episode of the new season, featuring Hammond's hill climb behind the wheel of the monstrous Rimac.

The Grand Tour said: "Jeremy Clarkson and James May give Richard Hammond, what can only be termed as the worst pep talk (pause) in the world at a hill climb event on the first episode of The Grand Tour."
