Air pollution is a problem in South Africa more specially in urban areas where more than 80% of people live.

Motorists are playing a role in polluting the air through their car’s emissions.

According to Automobile Association (AA) on a day to day basis Vehicles contribute 27% of overall greenhouse gases. 

There are many things that enhance vehicles to pollute air, things like road congestion which increases emission per kilometre travelled, poor maintenance and high average age of fleet vehicles.
