Videos: De Villota crash

Earlier we reported on female Formula 1 driver Maria de Villota suffering serious head injuries in a crash during testing for F1 team Marussia.

De Villota's car struck the team's support truck soon after the end of her first run at an airfield in Cambridgeshire, England. Initial reports said she was in "a life-threatening"l condition but then it was announced that she was conscious and awaiting further medical attention in hospital.

Marussia earlier said De Villota was injured when her car collided with a support vehicle at the end of her first lap. BBC radio presenter Chris Mann, who saw the crash, said her car hit the truck after suddenly accelerating.

Marussia released a statement: "The team can confirm that Maria was transferred by ambulance from Duxford Airfield, where the accident happened, to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. Since Maria's arrival at the hospital she has been receiving the best medical attention possible, is conscious and medical assessments are ongoing.

"The team will await the outcome of these assessments before providing further comment. The team's first priority at this time is Maria and her family."

Videos from the crash have been uploaded to YouTube. We've sifted through dozens of "fake" crash videos to bring you a selection of clips which best detail the events and we hope De Viliota will soon be back in a racing seat.
