Johannesburg - Three men involved in a shoot-out with police whilie they stole a Nissan from a dealer in Woodmead, Johannesburg are being hunted.
A police spokesperson said: "Just before noon two police officers on foot patrol were approached by a Nissan employee who told them three men were stealing a car from a dealer in Woodmead.
FLED UNDER FIRE
"When the two officers approached the men, the thieves fired on them."
During the shooting the men managed to break into the Nissan and start it. They fled in the car while still exchanging fire with the police but nobody was injured.
The stolen vehicle has not been recovered.
