The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6 - launched in 2013 - has enough charisma to compete with supercars in a crowded car park but our spy photographers have spied its, well... its smaller brother with only four wheels.

The G63 is known as one of the ultimate SUV's on any beaten track. Despite the 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet and, like its bigger 6x6 brother, the most prevalent noise of this giant machine comes from the four 37" tyres as the G63 careers through the corners.
Yes, those tyres have a centralised inflation system that allows the drive to adjust pressure as the terrain changes but high-g cornering probably wasn't part of the design.
Our spy photographers also think that tarmac could be one of the few places this go-anywhere vehicle wasn't designed to go.
