Minis set to swamp Paul Ricard

The fourth year of the Mini United open-air festival for the growing international community of fans of the (once) small car brand is scheduled for May, 2012.

The Mini fans will descend on France’s Paul Ricard racing circuit from May 11-13, 2012 for a festival that will include live music and DJs, sports activities, car displays, driving experiences and stunt shows.

Other attractions will include an entertainment programme for junior Mini fans and a Mini Club Area and Beauty Parking where some of the most outrageously styled Minis will be on display.

And if the previous Mini United was any indication of its popularity, fans won’t have a problem making their presence known at Le Castellet in May. Some 25 000 from more than 40 nations flocked to Silverstone in England for the Mini United festival in 2009, which also celebrated the 50th anniversary of the brand’s founding.
