Merc ML (kind of) goes sporty

Are you struggling to locate your Mercedes-Benz ML amongst all the others at your local country club?

Why not individualise it with a Sports package!

Now available locally, the M-Class Sports package adds handsomely to the price of the ML range whilst adding a few styling trinkets.

Exterior aesthetic embellishments include chrome trim on the waistline rubber strip and a radiator grille finished in a combination of sterling silver (the colour, not the material) and chrome.

Plenty of shiny bits

Around the rear the load sill guard is finished in chrome with the ML’s aft underguard boasting stainless steel surfacing. Even utilitarian items are trimmed out, with the roof rails adding an aluminium look.

Rounding off the ML Sports package's styling are 20-inch wheels featuring a striking five-spoke twin-blade design, whilst running boards ensure easy access for occupants.

Inside, the ML Sports package introduces brushed stainless steel pedals and a (very) slightly revised instrument cluster

Additional ergonomic functionality courtesy of the Sports package includes sports seats with four-way lumbar support for the driver.

If you are an absolute ML anorak you’ll notice the sports seats are upholstered in a combination of Alcantara and Artico man-made leather (or premium pleather) with a five-ribbed horizontal design. Smashing.

The M-Class Sports package adds R35 000 to the list price of V6 powered MLs and R25 000 to the V8 model.
