Meet Chrysler's new 300C

Here is the first official picture of the new Chrysler 300C, which will go sale in 2010.

This computer generated image shows that the new 300's exterior will be similar to the current car's, but that front and rear styling will change, taking cues from the 200C concept.

The 300C will be the first model to be launched under Chrysler's new "viability plan".

Chrysler has apparently re-engineered the car's platform to boost driving dynamics. Furthermore the 300C will get an all-new "Phoenix" V6 engine which is expected to offer decent economy as well as power.

The "Phoenix" units will come in 3.0, 3.3, 3.6 and 4.0-litre capacities.
