The devastatingly powerful Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupé Black Series will be unleashed on the circuits at Mercedes-Benz World in the UK on July 14 2012 “to take public driving experiences to another dimension”.
A car will be available for the public to drive at a discounted rate equivalent to R3375 a session (a saving of R1300) at the amazing Merc visitor attraction that is Mercedes-Benz World at what used to be the Brooklands racetrack near Weybridge in the English country of Surrey.
'EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE'
Sounds very sexy. This is what Mercedes says: “Visitors to the astonishing automotive attraction will shudder with seduction at the sight of this the most powerful C-Class to date, developed and engineered to deliver the ultimate adrenalin rush.
“The exclusive experience will be a powerful 12-week summer offer.”

Only 600 of the cars will be produced worldwide with 66 destined for the UK... and an amazing 30 for the much smaller South African market, a number that shows how severe the recession is hitting the rich down here at the bottom of Africa. Basic car: R1 425 000 a pop, or roughly R12 000 a month if you left the money in the bank at 10% interest.
“This is a rare chance to experience the dynamism and excitement that AMG has transferred from the racetrack to a road car,” Merc gushes on. “The full force of the AMG 6.3-litre V8 propels the track predator to 100km/h in just 4.2sec. With dramatic, track-honed aerodynamics, it looks every bit as menacing as it performs with the power to cast a Black Series shadow that will eclipse rival driving experiences at other venues."
The driving experience, Merc adds, indulges raw driving dynamics with roar-performance pleasure. “The hour-long experience consists of two parts. During the first 30 minutes drivers will develop their circuit-craft behind the wheel of an "ordinary" Mercedes AMG - while "remembering every straight and corner".

“With the circuit ingrained in their mind and a professional Mercedes-driving specialist in the passenger seat, the remaining 30 minutes will be spent in the C63 AMG Coupé Black Series taming the tumultuous aggressor from its racing-style bucket seat.”
