It’s been billed as Chrysler’s first supermini (even though it’s really a Fiat with another face), but a special edition of the Ypsilon hatchback called the Black and Red has just been launched in the UK.
While the Black and Red looks striking (which is why we are telling you about it), it is also packed with stylish new features and technologies.
It is available with a choice of three engines also sourced from Fiat – the International Engine of the Year-winning 900cc TwinAir and 1.2-litre petrol, and a 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel.
STICKING TO THE THEME
The Black and Red edition also receives special black and red upholstery, fascia and door linings; Blue and Me Bluetooth and an updated audio system.
It is distinguished on the outside by its two-tone paint finish, 16” rims, fog lights and body-coloured side skirts.
Unfortunately for possible South African fans, Chrysler SA has said “the Ypsilon is not under consideration at this stage”.
Not even in black and red...
