Aston Martin has released special edition Carbon Black versions of its range-topping DBS and V12 Vantage sports cars.
Both DBS and V12 Vantage are finished in bespoke carbon black metallic paint. The V12 Vantage gains carbon fibre with black mesh for the side gills, while wheels are finished in 10-spoke diamond turned alloy wheels.
Cabins are awash with Obsidian Black leather with contrasting silver stitching and Piano black trim for the fascia and central hangdown.
Lightweight seats are of carbon fibre and Kevlar, shaving 17 kg off the kerb weight of either car, the manufacturer says.
Aston Martin's 700W Premium Audio System is standard on the V12 Vantage, while prospective special edition DBS owners will have to make do with a Bang & Olufsen Beosound system as standard.
Thankfully, while their power remains as ferocious as ever, the cosmetic additions to both cars remain tastefully understated.
The Carbon Black Editions are available to order although final pricing is expected to be confirmed in the new year.
