New Mitsubishi Evo X
Mitsubishi has released the first info of its first all-new Lancer Evo, which is set to be unveiled at September's Frankfurt Motor Show.
This rally thoroughbred is ready to battle it out with the new Subaru Impreza.
Whereas Subaru gave the Impreza a radical new look, the Evo X has maintained its angular shape.
The Evo X sits on an entirely new platform and under the bonnet will be a 2-litre turbocharged engine, which will be mated to a DSG gearbox.
Apparently this hotty will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than four seconds and will run out of breath at 250km/h.
The newcomer is only expected to arrive in South Africa in the second half of 2008.
