ACOTY 2012: Win a R3450 watch!

Wheels24’s Alternative Car of the Year Awards is back and it’s time to cast your vote on the boldest, the brashest and the most fabulous vehicles the motoring world has to offer.

Our cars reflect our diverse personalities and if you ever thought a car was too flashy, too rugged or too girly then you'll know what we're talking about.

With that in mind, we've narrowed down our ACOTY 2012 vote to three categories:

Jock

These vehicles are for the manne; the ones who would rather be off-road in the bundu or clocking up lap times on a racetrack. Our 2012 nominees reflect our inner Jocks:

Audi A6
Ford Focus
Hyundai Elantra
McLaren MP4-12C
Chevrolet Ute

Chop

Our Chop cars are for those among us who treat roads like racetracks and indicators as optional extras. You're the kind of driver who has a massive, er, ego and needs a vehicle to match. Our Chop car nominees represent the vehicles that may cause heads to shake when you pass, not to mention seething jealousy:

BMW 1 Series M Coupe
BMW 1 Series
Chevrolet Orlando
Lexus CT200h
Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG

Frock

Some cars lend themselves to being a belle of the ball while others, in our Frock car category, try to compensate by being too butch. Frock car drivers are fabulous with vehicles to match their out and proud personality:

Alfa Romeo Giulietta
Mini Coupe
Peugeot 508
Smart ForTwo Cabriolet
Toyota FJ Cruiser

So, who will claim our Jock, Chop andFrock car crowns? Make your mark in our ACOTY 2012 mini site.

There's a Jacques Le Mans watch to win!
