Ride-hailing company Lyft is teaming up with mobility tech firm Aptiv to bring a public commercial autonomous vehicle service to Las Vegas.
It uses the same principle of apps such as Uber and Taxify where if a car or driver is close to you, it will pick you up. Only this time there won't be a driver behind the wheel.
Autonomous convenience
Commuters will be able to choose a self-driving vehicle either for a single trip or a shared ride by simply opening up the app.
