WATCH: Flying car hovers during tech demonstration

A flying electric car prototype has been tested in Japan.

Japanese electronics giant NEC and Cartivator think this is the transport mode of the future.

NEC officials say their flying car is designed for driverless flights for deliveries.The flying prototype can hover three metres above the ground.

However, the Japanese government wants to see the public zipping around in these vehicles by the 2030s.
