A California-based company called Lime is focused on getting people out of their cars and onto their dockless electric scooters.

According to the Toronto Star, the e-scooters don't make use of docking stations, allowing consumers to pick up and it along the streets.

Mobility made easy

The scooter costs $1 (about R15) to unlock and 15c per minute riding and it doesn't have to be returned to a particular spot. The company recommends it be left near a bike rack or curbs.
