San Francisco -  In 2017, Wheels24 reported that US car rental giant Avis Budget announced it will team up with Waymo on the self-driving cars being tested on Arizona roads.

The rental company said it would provide support and maintenance for Waymo, a subsidiary of Google-parent Alphabet, to keep the vehicles clean and mechanically ready to go.

A YouTuber by the name of Austin Cyrus posted a video of a Waymo vehicle apparently running a red light at an intersection.

Cyrus: "We just watched a WAYMO Autonomous car run a red light right by our house."
