Although it seems as if the car won't change much in shape, the good news is that BMW is toning its design down to give it a more conservative styling.
The current model's harsh angles will make way for more sweeping lines. Apparently the most dramatic changes will be reserved for the 7's front end, which will resemblance more that of the 5- and 6-Series making it look more aggressive. So expect wraparound headlamps and a wider grille.
Furthermore BMW will also launch an updated and less complicated version of its controversial iDrive operating system. BMW will boost driver ergonomics too enhancing the overall driving experience.
BMW is also planning a big crossover-like vehicle, the V7, which will share its underpinnings with the 7 Series. The V7 is to rival the Mercedes R-Class and might just break cover before the launch of the 7 Series.
