New Corolla snapped in Durban

2007-02-28 11:11
An eagle-eyed Wheels24 reader caught the new generation Toyota Corolla testing on a Durban freeway this week.

The Corolla, and the new Auris hatchback, will probably go on sale in South Africa early next year, though some reports suggest a third quarter 2007 introduction.

The next generation of the world's best-selling sedan will be larger and more dynamic than before. Toyota claims that new Corolla's passenger compartment has been designed to create a feeling of spaciousness.

Two new engines, one petrol and one diesel, will be included in the range when it is introduced here.
