Defiant drunk nabbed TWICE for DUI

EUGENE, Oregon - It’s bad enough being arrested for drunk driving but how about being nabbed twice in one day for the same offence?

Jami Wyatt (36) racked up two 'driving under the influence' (DUI) charges mere hours apart.

STRIKE ONE...

Another driver reported Wyatt, who was allegedly driving erratically in a Honda Accord with her husband and two children as passengers, to the police at 12:40pm. Police went to her home and arrested her for DUI and reckless endangerment. Her blood-alcohol level was allegedly more than twice the legal limit.

Wyatt was booked into the local jail before 3pm but, due to overcrowding, was released two hours later.

STRIKE TWO...

The defiant driver was spotted on the road again soon afterwards, again in the Accord. Under Oregon law, a driver accused of drunken driving who fails a breath test is not allowed to drive for 12 hours after that arrest.

...AND YOU'RE OUT

Wyatt was arrested again before 7.40pm and sent back to the jail, though was again released on bail less than three hours later.

Authorities could not confirm whether Wyatt consumed more alcohol between her first release from jail and her second arrest.
