Expresses pure dynamics at the front of the car, the design at the rear is more unobtrusive. The spoiler rear hood and the rear wing are made of high-quality Kevlar-Carbon. Aerodynamically optimized side mirrors complete the optical design of the R Kompressor.
The interior still remains conservative as most RUF vehicles usually are, and while the instruments are trimmed with green scaling, it still exudes a classic style.
Stylish, yet elegant
The steering wheel, gear knob, aluminum pedal set and the foot rest are all RUF accessories and adds to the sportive and elegant interior.
Another impressive detail is the 19-inch wheels. At the front axle the width of the wheels is 8.5" and they are equipped with 255/35 ZR19 tires. 1-inch wide wheels and 305/30 ZR19 tires are used at the rear axle.
Under the hood
Powering this baby is a 3.8L RUF engine with a 6-cylinder and 24 valves engine, equipped with a Kompressor and two water-cooled intercoolers.
The impressive performance and the powerful torque constantly present at all engine speeds and offers best acceleration, good torque and high top speed.
How much power we talking? A lovely 320 kW of power at 7 .;000r/min and has a maximum torque of 470 Nm at 5 000r/min.
It accelerates in just 4 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and in 13.6 seconds from 0 to 160 km/h. Top speed is reached at a feisty 300km/h.
All RUF R Kompressor models are handmade at the RUF Automobile GmbH in Pfaffenhausen, Germany. From laying the down the harness, fitting the interior, suspension and brake kit to fitting the engine-gear-box- unit into the body.
