The four-model, C3 range is driven by three engine models - a turbo diesel engine and 1.4 and 1.6 petrol engines.
Some of the changes on the C3 include a fully redesigned dashboard, plus new door panels and upholstery. Like before the C3 comes with a host of standard features such as power steering, airconditioner, front loading single disc CD Player with satellite audio controls, remote central locking, automatically operated headlamps and front windscreen wipers, which are also speed sensitive.
There are also subtle changes to the car's exterior design. According to Citroen the front end sports a more imposing bumper, which varies according to the model, and a new radiator grille with bigger chevrons.
At the rear, the C3 features new lights with a crystal central area, along with new chevrons. There are also new 16-inch alloy wheels on the top of the range 1.6i model.

Three engines
Having launched the 1.4 HDi Diesel engine in the C2 range recently, Citroën SA has added the HDi DV4TD engine to the C3 range.
This inline 4 cylinder, 1398cc, turbodiesel produces 50 kW of power at 4 000 r/min and 140 Nm of torque at 1 750 r/min.
In addition to the diesel engine, the C3 range is fitted with a 1.4 litre and 1.6 litre petrol engine units.
The 1.4 litre, fuel injected, four-cylinder inline powerplant delivers 54 kW at 5 400 r/min whilst the torque figures are 115 Nm at 3 300 r/min.
The range topping 1.6 litre petrol engine develops 80 kW of power at 5 750 r/min and 144 Nm at 4 000 r/min. This model is fitted with a choice of a five speed manual gearbox or four-speed automatic gearbox.
To enhance driving dynamics, Citroën has fitted the C3 range with new running gear too.
