X5 M SPOTTED IN ACTION
The 2014 BMW X5 M will receive subtle design tweaks. Spy images show a new front and rear bumpers, larger brakes and new quad exhausts.
As with all M vehicles, the 2014 X5 M is also sure to get a specially-tuned, track-worthy suspension, wheel, and tyres.
The next-generation X5 M may not arrive at the same time as the 2014 X5, and could in fact be delayed to 2015.
NEXT X6 M
The new X6 M will receive a slightly modified BMW kidney grille as well as a redesigned front bumper and new headlights. The rear will sport minor changes to the bumper and taillights
As for the X5 M, it is also expected to debut some new styling elements but will still remain recognisable as the X5 M.
Both the new X6 M and X5 M will use the same 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine of the outgoing models (currently tuned to 407kW/680Nm), however, we could expect to see some slight power gains for both SUVs.
NEXT X6 FOR SA
BMW's second-generation version of its X6 will arrive in South Africa in February 2015.
