As we reported recently, Audi is to launch its RS4 here next year, but if it is too pricey for you, you can always pin your hopes on another racy A4 model, the DTM.

The A4 DTM Edition is based on the 147 kW 2.0T derivative but sits 20mm lower while it also comes with sport suspension and 18-inch cast aluminium wheels.

Other sporty touches include a beefier front bumper, carbon-fibre spoiler lip at the front and flared sills.

At the rear there is a new bumper, a carbon-fibre boot spoiler and dual tailpipes.

The DTM Edition will be available in limited numbers and it will be priced just below R300 000 when it goes on sale here in March.

Audi's much anticipated Q7 SUV will arrive here in September next year and it will cost between R500 000 and R600 000.

There will be two models in the Q7 range, which is a full seven-seater. The entry-level model will come with Audi's 162 kW 3.0 TDI engine and the range topper will feature a 4.2 FSI unit.
