With the S60, Volvo is ripping up the age-old cliche of producing cars for the older generation.
Currently in its third-generation, the Volvo S60 edition is flatter, lower, sportier and more aggressive than its predecessor. It now sits in the same company as the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the Audi A4.
Not an old man's car
It comes with a choice of two turbocharged petrol engines and also a plug in hybrid with power outputs of 140, 184 and 288kW respectively. Volvo's goal is to completely eliminate diesels from the line-up.
As has become a trademark with Volvo cars, safety is of top priority in the S60. Improved Collision Avoidance systems aide the driver in keeping occupants safe.
