South Africans are spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding which SUV to buy since there is a plethora of options to choose from. One of those is the Volkswagen Touareg.
Volkswagen as a standalone brand only have the Touareg and Tiguan but under its Volkswagen group umbrella, they have the Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q7, Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus, to name a few.
Figures that matter
The model featured in the video is the V8 TDI that produces 310kW, which is currently not sold in SA. Locally we have the 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel engine producing 190kW and 600Nm found in both Luxury and Executive models.
It has seen vast technological and design improvements over the years to put it on par with some of the other luxury options out there.
Pricing starts from R999 800 with a host of optional extras available as well.
