WATCH: Sleeker, sharper and faster - the SA-bound Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 S is not for the faint-hearted

The C63 is the only sedan in the performance segment that boasts eight cylinders. Now there's a refreshed version of the German powerhouse.

It has a received a few changes both inside and out, set apart by its Panamericana grille - exclusive to AMG models.

Where the fun begins

The C63 S boasts a 4.0-litre V8 engine with two turbochargers that produces 375kW and a mammoth 700Nm all of which is relayed to the rear wheels via a nine-speed MCT gearbox.

In addition to the sedan and coupe models that will be available locally, there are also wagon and cabriolet versions in the stable, both if which won't be available here.

The C63 S will be coming to South Africa in the final quarter of 2018 but Mercedes-Benz SA hasn’t given word on pricing as of yet.
