I have recently driven the brand's Grandland X, and it's such an underrated SUV in the market.

Pricing for this vehicle starts from R441 870.

It has sharp, beautiful lines with muscular curves, giving it an assertive stance on the road. It's spacious, and the 1.6 T Enjoy model is easy in traffic or if you want to stretch its legs on the long road.

Although it's completely modern in its styling, the feeling of nostalgia just creeps in while you're driving. The Grandland X has a good, quality build, while equipment and materials are of a high standard. It genuinely felt good to drive an Opel again.

And it's the kind of product that re-affirms that the brand is here to stay in South Africa. Rivals to name a few include the Nissan X-Trail, Hyundai Tucson, Ford Kuga or Kia Sportage

The Grandland X comes packed with features and niceties like its front fog lights, 18" Alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, and aluminium roof rails all as standard goods. Options include a two-tone roof.

Opel has also upgraded the Grandland X in July which enables the Opel Grandland X Enjoy 1.6T Automatic with a choice of the Plus Package. This includes a panoramic sunroof, satnav 900 IntelliLink infotainment system.

It also has leather seats with its winter pack to the above-mentioned specification updates, making this best-in-class SUV even better.

The automaker has also responded to satisfying peace-of-mind vehicle ownership by an all-improved 5 Years or 150 000km Warranty on the Opel Grandland X range – making it nationwide the most comprehensive German vehicle warranty available in this SUV category.
