WATCH: Mercedes' radical new concept car goes Back To The Future

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled it's latest concept vehicle and it looks like something straight out of a science-fiction movie.

The EQ Silver Arrow car is an all-electric single seater, inspired by its Formula 1 heritage with a low-laying chassis.

Drawing inspiration

The futuristic car pays tribute to the W125 race car that dominated the racing circuit back in 1937 - a modern extension of the world famous classic.

It produces a maximum power output of 550kW, almost a 100kW more than the car it draws inspiration from.

Mercedes-Benz is well on par with porducing eye-catching yet fast electric car. The EQ Silver Arrow throws down the gauntlet.
