The Lexus RX has been a huge success, and not least because of the SUV's lasting popularity. Lexus has decided to produce a longer version - the hybrid RX L

This longer version is simply to accommodate more people (up to 7) and geared primarily towards the American and Asian markets.

Electric luxury

Its petrol engine is aided by two electric motors that work in unison to give it a maximum power output of 230kW (313hp).

The RX is spacious enough on the inside and also perfect for a larger family with plenty of kids, all while encapsulating the most comfortable journey.

Gone are the days of heavy SUV's emitting harmful emissions. The tide is turning and the heavier derivatives are slowly becoming as clean as passnger road cars.
