WATCH: Jaguar's XJR 575 for SA - what it's like to have an interview at 300km/h!

England -  Jaguar SA has announced a range of enhancements to its local XJ line-up. The updates also includes the introduction of its XJR 575 performance flagship.

The new XJR 575 is powered by delivered by a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged engine, capable of 423kW/700Nm (up by 18kW). The V8 rockets the luxury sports sedan from 0-100km/h in 4.4 seconds and to a top speed of 300km/h, making it the automaker's fastest production sedan.

The 300km/h interview

Ever wanted to know what it's like to conduct an interview at 300km/h? Jaguar has released a video to coincide with the launch of its XJR 575.

According to Jaguar: "To celebrate the launch of the new XJR 575, Production Studio Director, Wayne Burgess, undertakes a 300km/h interview with the help of Jaguar Racing presenter Amanda Stretton. 

"Delivering more power than any previous XJ, the Jaguar XJR 575 accelerates from 0-100km in just 4.4 seconds.
