WATCH | The Hyundai Atos' turning circle is so good you can make a 360-degree turn in a driveway

The Hyundai Atos returned to the South African market in late-2018.

Coming up against the likes of the Renault Kwid and Datsun Go, the Atos needs to offer a comprehensive package if it is to steal sales from its rivals. One aspect where the Atos might make an impact, is with how it reacts to life in the city; especially traffic.

In a (not so) scientific experiment, we tested the Atos' turning circle of 9.6m. The aim: to see if the car can make a full 360-degree turn in a driveway. Though we realise that prospective owners might not go to such lengths in their pursuit of a new budget-beating, traffic-conquering car, a light, informative experiment is always welcome.

Keep an eye on Wheels24 for a comprehensive review of the Atos later this week.
