WATCH | Here's what Toyota's hydrogen-powered Mirai is all about

Mobility is changing. Toyota is bucking the trend and putting its hopes on hydrogen fuel cells. Their hydrogen-powered Mirai is a step in that direction.

Launched in 2014, the first-generation Mirai proved the global potential of hydrogen to power clean and sustainable mobility, combining a driving range with refueling time equivalent to conventional vehicles and emissions to nothing but water.

An energy shift

The entirety of the car is made up of long, sleek lines, further enhanced with the fitment of 20-inch wheels. On the inside is a 12.3-inch widescreen on the centre console and instrument panel.

It is becoming a rapid reality that we are moving towards a combustion-less era and the Mirai is Toyota's wielding example of this. Could we see this become a norm in the future? Definitely.
