We've jotted down five performance cars we're looking forward to driving in 2020, but what about non-performance orientated ones? Thankfully, we have a cool video that focuses on several new cars to look out for in the next 10 months.
From the first-ever BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe to the long-awaited Land Rover Defender, 2020 will see fresh metal touch down in Mzansi.
The 2 Series Gran Coupe's flagship model is the M235i x-Drive version that produces 225kW from a 2.0-litre turbo engine, it sends power to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The other notable car on the list is Land Rover's Defender.
At the South African launch expected in the first half of 2020, the 110 line-up will include a powerful 3.0-litre straight six-cylinder P400 featuring efficient Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle technology with outputs of 294kW and 550Nm.
Alternatively, customers can choose a 2.0-litre D240 turbodiesel with 177kW and 430Nm.
The introduction of increased engine options, along with the short wheelbase 90 derivative, will follow later in 2020.
Indicative pricing for the new SUV is: 110 from R910 400 and for the 90 model from R830 300.
