Hyundai has facelifted its best-selling compact SUV, the Tucson with a new look and improved engines.

The Tucson has undergone major aesthetic changes over the years, now more refined and occupant based with a core focus on smooth driveability.

Options aplenty

I was present at the launch of the Tucson in 2018 and had  the opportunity to drive the Premium spec model that makes use of a 4-cylinder, 2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering 115kW and 196Nm.

Locally, the Tucson is available in seven variants with a total of three engines in naturally aspirated and turbocharged form.

Hyundai's compact SUV range already boast the likes of the Kona and Creta, both of which are popular choices in its segment.
