The Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet's first official presentation was at the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) in September 2019 with the launch will take place in the northern spring of 2020.
While the hard top T-Roc has been on the road for two years (in Europe) and due in South Africa in the second half of 2020 , the auto giant expand its model range in the industry's fastest-growing segment.
The T-Roc Convertible can be had with 1.5-litre petrol turbo engines with an output of 85kW and 110kW respectively are available for the front-wheel drive SUV.
The manual six-speed gearbox comes as standard in conjunction with the 1.0 three-cylinder engine with an output of 85 kW; for the more powerful 1.5 four-cylinder engine with 110kW. A seven-speed dual clutch gearbox is also available as an option.
The T-Roc Convertible hasn't been confirmed for local introduction.
