With standard features like Öhlins dampers, Akrapovic lightweight titanium exhaust, RS Monitor and a carbon composite bonnet with NACA duct and carbon rear diffuser, the RS Trophy R is a serious hot hatch.
It also holds the record as the fastest front-wheel drive production car to lap the Nürburgring and Spa Francorchamps.
It uses the same 1.8-litre turbocharged engine that produces 220kW and 400Nm. 0-100km/h is slated at 5.4 seconds and only 500 have been made, with none earmarked for South Africa as yet.
