Port Elizabeth - Volkswagen has expanded and enhanced its local Polo Vivo range with the launch of a special edition - the Vivo Street.
The special edition coincides with the launch of a new Style Package and four new colours for the range.
The automaker has also upgraded its sporty Polo Vivo GT with new exterior and interior features.
Vivo Street
The Polo Vivo Street special edition, only available in hatchback guise, is powered by a 1.4 petrol capable of 63kW.
VW says the Street can be distinguished with its exclusive features which include; side-mirrors painted in silver; 15" Cordoba alloy rims; 7mm lowered suspension; silver double stripes on the bonnet and roof as well as silver stripes on lower front and rear doors, grey stitching on the leather steering wheel, gear lever and ‘Kadra’ seat trim.
The Polo Vivo Street is priced at R159 900.
Polo Vivo GT enhancement
The GT's 15" alloys has been replaced with 16" Rivazza alloy rims and the interior ‘Rocket’ seat trim is upgraded to ‘Clark’ upholstery design.
Style package
The Style package is available for 1.4 63kW Trendline, 1.6 77kW Trendline (Sedan) and 1.6 77kW Comfortline derivatives.
Buyers who customise their Vivo hatches and sedans with the Style package benifit from 15" Riverside alloy rims, ‘Vienna’ leather seats (including steering wheel and gear lever), cruise control and chromed rings for the instrument cluster, ventilation and switches.
The Style package is offered at R13 000 for the 1.4 63kW Trendline, 1.6 77kW Trendline and R9100 for the 1.6 77kW Comfortline.
New colours
Four new colours has been added to the Polo Vivo range - red metallic, blue silk metallic, grey metallic and honey orange (exclusively available with the Polo Vivo Maxx).
