Volkswagen South Africa revealed pricing for its new T-Cross R-Line – the range-topping model in the T-Cross range.
Priced at R403 500, the model is the second most-expensive in the range, but still holds onto the tag as top model.
As the R-Line model, this T-Cross is fitted with a turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 110kW and 250Nm, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends power to the front wheels.
According to Volkswagen, 0-100km/h is cleared in 8.5 seconds, while top speed is 200km/h. Frugality is also high on the cards, as 5.5-litres/100km is the claimed figure.
Features
The T-Cross 1.5 R-Line is comprehensively specified with standard features that will have eager buyers flocking over. This list of features includes 18-inch alloy wheels, Volkswagen latest infotainment system, sporty front seats, wireless smartphone charging, and LED headlamps.
Not forgetting the R-Line body kit.
The new T-Cross comes standard with a three-year/120 000km warranty, and a three-year/45 000km service plan.
