• Suzuki has added an electronic stability program as standard across its Baleno range.

• In addition to the ESP system, Suzuki is offering its five-year or 200 000km mechanical warranty on all new Baleno models.

• The Baleno has a starting price of R221 900.

Suzuki has fitted its Baleno with electronic stability program (ESP) as standard across the range in an effort to offer a better value proposition in the market.

The Baleno has a starting price of R221 900.

"The ESP system combines stability control and traction control into one seamless safety system that prevents the vehicle from losing traction," Suzuki says.

It is now standard on the GL and GLX models and on both manual and automatic gearboxes.

In addition to the ESP system, Suzuki is offering its five-year or 200 000km mechanical warranty on all new Baleno models.

A four-year or 60 000km service plan is standard.
