• New Grand Sedona to launch in SA next year
• Three generations in production since 1998
• Current Grand Sedona priced from R673 995
This week, Kia revealed the first images of its new, fourth-generation Grand Sedona. Although it’s known as the Carnival in other parts of the world, the Grand Sedona has become a popular sight on South African roads, as well as an ideal partner for those who love road trips.
A solitary engine powers the current range, that being a turbocharged 2.2-litre diesel engine with 147kW and 440Nm on offer. An eight-speed automatic gearbox sends power to the front wheels.
The Grand Sedona offers seating for up to 11 passengers, without looking like a taxi. It retains all the comfort, features, and safety specification you’d come to find on a family vehicle.
The generations listed below are the three that’s been in production since 1998. After each passing generation, the Grand Sedona grew in size and stature, and the design, too, became more alluring and enticing.
The current model retails from R673 995, and three derivatives make up the range.
