French carmaker Renault announced its updated Koleos is now available in South Africa. From the outside you'll notice a new, large grille, LED daytime driving lights in the brand's signature C-shape, chrome inserts at the front and new wheel designs too.
Certain models now feature LED headlights as standard. Inside, Renault has added satin chrome inserts on the steering wheel, gear lever and air vents.
Ergonomically there are new foamed materials on the dashboard and door trims to make those item softer when occupants touch those surfaces.
The new model features upgraded tech including including Blind Spot Warning and 360 Park Assist and the infotainment system is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible.
Furthermore there is a new a voice recognition system that manages the radio, navigation, mobile phone calls and even e-mails.

Under the skin it offers a 4x4 model in Dynamique trim that lockable four-wheel drive. All three models are powered by a 2.5-litre petrol engine with 126kW and 233Nm. A CVT does duty across the range with two models in 4x2 and 4x4 on offer.
The new model is available in two trim levels – Expression and Dynamique and there are only two options: metallic paint (R2522) and adjustable leather seats (R12 000) on the bottom of the range Expression model.
