‘Race-bred styling meets head-turner': Lexus reveals new Sport Coupes for SA

• Refreshed Lexus RC F range with improved aerodynamics, handling and updated design

• New RC F Track Edition coupe with exclusive performance styling upgrades

Lexus has announced substantially-revised RC F range will be officially available for the first time in South Africa.

The range is all about ‘race-bred styling meets head-turner’. Car enthusiasts have an option of two model choices, namely the RC F and RC F Track Edition – the latter is sure to turn hot laps all day and all night.

The model derivatives include an improved and style-enhanced RC F plus sharp specification for the first RC F Track Edition.

Powered by a highly acclaimed normally-aspirated 5.0-litre V8 engine, the latest iteration of the “F” sees a series of dramatic enhancements targeting reduced weight and even more dynamic handling.

Pricing

The entry price of the RC F is R1 318 300, while the faster and sharper RC F Track Edition is priced at R2 098 200.

The RC F Track Edition hones that aerodynamic focus with a number of performance mods including a front lower spoiler to further reduce front-end lift, and extensive use of carbon fibre body parts.

"The RC F and RC F Track Edition will make a formidable pair in the performance-obsessed South African market. And offering a more aggressively-priced RC F and a more aggressively-dynamic RC F Track Edition is an ideal twin-strategy in the car enthusiasts’ market," says Glenn Crompton- Lexus Sales and Marketing vice-president.

These highly-sophisticated and proudly-unique normally-aspirated V8-powered coupes have never been better represented than after such comprehensive upgrades.

The RC F and RC F Track Edition are available for order at Lexus dealerships countrywide.
