Nissan updates Micra line-up with new derivatives

Nissan has updated its Micra range with three new derivatives,featuring a more powerful 1.0-litre turbocharged engine with 84kW and 180Nm. 

The models are: Acenta Plus, Tekna and the flagship Tekna Plus.

The Japanese carmaker says standard features on the new model is a sport suspension, sport exhaust tail pipe fin, keyless entry, push start button, park distance control, automatic folding exterior mirrors, leather steering wheel and shift lever and blind spot warning.

On the exterior expect LED headlights and front fog lights, auto air conditioner and automatic headlight and the Tekna Plus with leather heated seats.

The top of the range model ls are now available in black, with a red interior.

A closer look at the turbocharged 1.0-litre petrol engine shows an increase of 18kW over its predecessors - and 180Nm.

The ride height is 10mm lower on the flagship versions featuring the 1.0-litre engine and also features revised suspension tuning. 

The Tekna and Tekna Plus models are sold with the Bose Personal sound system, complete with headrest speakers.
