Gran Turismo Sport players can download Mazda's latest race car, the RX Visions GT3. Based on the RX-Vision Concept car, the carmaker says it is lined with FIA GT3 race car regulations.

The company says the incredible looking racer was developed with Polyphony Digital and is exclusively for Sony Playstion's simulation-driving title, Gran Turismo Sport.

It's powered by a 425kW four-rotor next-gen Skyactiv-R engine with a near perfect 48:52 front-rear weight distribution.

GT3 regulations mean the original cabin and doors are remain the same, but the front and rear track width has been expanded and wheel arch width increased. It looks like something Batman would race.

While it may look like a car Batman would race, the large bonnet air outlet improves both aerodynamics and engine bay cooling, and front and rear spoilers and a rear diffuser increase downforce says Mazda.

The RX sits lower to the ground in terms of ride height and overall vehicle height to aid aerodynamic performance.

And we all know saving weight makes cars quicker, therefore heavy materials and superfluous interior parts have been removed to bring reduce the reduction and bring a lower centre of gravity.
