House of Volvo at Festival of Motoring

If there is one stand that no visitor to the Festival of Motoring should miss, it is the Volvo Cars stand – it will deliver a feast of motoring and never-seen-before cutting-edge technology!

This year’s Festival of Motoring sees the launch of the House of Volvo, a double-storey stand that will feature the very latest Volvo cars. The star of the stand will be the refreshed XC90.

Visitors will be able to learn all about this SUV’s incredible features – not least of which is Safety with Autobrake (it’s still the only system on the market to recognise pedestrians, cyclists and large animals). They will also be able to check out its brand new six-seater configuration and other interior and exterior enhancements.

One of the most remarkable bits of tech in the automotive game today – Volvo On Call – is also brand new to South Africa, and visitors will be able to discover (and experience) this incredible technology. Volvo on Call app gives you control over your car’s functions.

Your car becomes more than just means of travel – it is your personal assistant. And it’s not limited to Volvo drivers; pop into the House of Volvo to find out more.

Of course, the motoring game is all about the actual driving – and visitors to the show will be able to experience the full Volvo range on the handling track. It will also be possible to take the XC60 and XC90 for a spin on the 4x4 track.

Finally, don’t forget to pop into the shop at the House of Volvo, and grab some Volvo-branded merchandise. See you there!
