BMW South Africa has released pricing for its initial two-model lineup which is due in March 2019.
The local arm of the automaker's website shows one petrol and one diesel model will be available.
The 320d is powered by a 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine with 140kW and 400Nm, it is priced from R649 253.
The 330i now uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine producing 190kW and 400Nm and priced at R652 415.50. BMW claims a 0-100km/h sprint time of 5.8 seconds.

The new model, according to the automaker, features an upgraded chassis technology, new damper technology, stiffer body structure, and suspension mountings.
It also features a wider track, in some cases, it weighs 55kg less, a low vehicle centre of gravity and even 50:50 weight distribution.
New M340i xDrive coming too
BMW SA also announced that a performance model named the M340i xDrive with 275kW and 500Nm. The M340i will reach 100km/h from standstill in a claimed 4.4 seconds.
It arrives in September 2019.
