Cape Town - The global launch of Mercedes' first C-Class cabriolet took place earlier in June 2016.
Wheels24 experienced the stunning cabriolet in Italy.
Ahead of its local launch, Mercedes-Benz South Africa has released prices of its drop-top C-Class.
Gallery: 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class CabrioletThe range compromises of eight petrol options; from the 115kW C180 1.6-litre four-cylinder unit to the monstrous 375kW AMG C63 S 4.0-litre six-cylinder.
The diesels units are powered by a four-cylinder engine, delivering either 125kW (C220d guise) or 150kW (C250d).

Mercedes' 4Matic all-wheel drive is available as standard for the C43 and as an option for the C200 and C 220d. All standard versions, including the AMG C43, are fitted with a 9G-Tronic auto ’box, while the C63 models uses AMG’s Speedshift MCT 7-speed sports transmission.
