Closer look: SA-bound new BMW X4

Based on the same platform as the BMW X3, the X4 ushers in the new generation of the Sports Activity Vehicle for the German automaker. 

The X4 is destined to reach South Africa in the third quarter of 2018. The big news is that the new generation has received two M Performance models (M40i and M40d) to the line-up. 

Take a closer look at a short driving impression of the M40d model that features a 240kW 3.0-litre turbodiesel engine which can reach 100km/h in a claimed 4.9 seconds, top speed is limited to 250km/h.
